Internet Society’s Jonathan B. Postel Service Award received by Prof Nii Quaynor !!

image022.jpgUnlike the many Fridays when most of my colleagues walk casually in their typical Friday wears, this day appears entirely different! It’s quite unfortunate the pictures are not ready to publish yet. You need to be right here to admire Eric in his official British suit, Ariza in that sharp female’s suit (perhaps to balance the “gender scale”), Ken (who have cause to be in his best as he was once supervised by prof) is all set for the journey…. Lorraine is tapping cool. Very noticeable is her large black belt apparently keeping her green and black top-and-down combination intact. something very common running through almost all our wears is the UCC crest. I almost forget about our boss (Mr. J.K.E Edumadze). He is in an all-brown American type coat.

You certainly won’t be wrong to ask me why ! The man who was honored recently for his significant achievement world-wide is strongly linked to our computer sceince department. Most directly he was once our lecturer, handling as in courses like Data Structure and Algorithms, Computer Architecture, and a couple of other courses which wasn’t taught as directly.

We received with great joy the news that we’ll be embarking on a trip from the University of Cape Coast campus to Accra to witness a ceremony to mark this great success chalked by the man of the moment – Prof Nii N. Quaynor.
